Things went incredibly well in the studio last week! The band and I had a great time recording at Cape Breton’s Lakewind Sound Studio and I can’t wait to let you hear the news songs! Be sure to join the mailing list for first chance updates on when they’ll be available.

January News
I’m officially a snowbird artist this year. I head south for the entire month of January to take part in the Escape To Create Artist Residency in Seaside, Florida along with four other distinctive artists (www.escape2create.org). It’s a privilege to be given this opportunity to focus completely on  a creative project – I will be working on writing a short film and accompanying songs/music.

I will also be playing the 30A Songwriters Festival while I’m there (www.30Asongwritersfestival.com) and I’m sure grateful they invited me back again this year! I’m joining lots of great songwriters at this festival including Shawn Mullins, Mat Kearney and our own Madison Violet.

I will miss the sight of snow on the pine trees…. but I’m excited to explore these new creative projects, meet other artists and write songs on the beach;)
