‘In My Bones’ gets three 2011 East Coast Music Award Nominations!

January 20th, 2011

Released in March 2010, In My Bones has received three 2011 ECMA nominations.

Great news to share this morning – my debut record In My Bones (March 2010) has received three award nominations from the East Coast Music Association:

Female Solo Recording of the Year
Pop Recording of the Year
and Rising Star Recording of the Year

The week-long music conference and awards gala takes place in Charlottetown, PEI on April 13th-17th, 2011, hosting a huge list of international buyers and delegates. Congratulations to all of my friends, fellow artists and colleagues who¬† have also been nominated this year. I’m looking forward to celebrating with you! Find more info at www.ecma.com

Thanks goes to the extraordinary people who worked with me on the record, including my producers Scott Ferguson and Fred Lavery, sound engineer Mike Shep (all of whom are no stranger to award nominations!) and the array of veteran and talented musicians who lent their expertise to my songs. My manager, Adam Lomas, also deserves a pretty serious nod. And of course, my mom!

I know, I know… I haven’t won anything yet. But the nomination is a real honour and I’m happy to join all my fellow nominees in these categories.

Fingers crossed;) See ya’ll down the road.
