With the winter behind us and the sweet summer beckoning from just beyond the edges of June, I’m eager to get back on the road. This week, I head out for a quick string of dates in Portland, Cambridge, Cape Cod and Washington, D.C. from April 19th to April 25th. I’m looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting new friends along the way. I kick the tour off with a show in Halifax with Ria Mae and Corey Isnor.

I start out in Portland, ME at The Art Department on April 19th with Portland’s Meghan Yates and the Reveries Machine. I met Meghan at the Campfire Festival in Cambridge, MA last fall when she invited me to sing harmonies on her set. We practiced in the alley behind the venue then jumped onstage and became fast friends.
Next, I head down to Washington, D.C. I’m really excited to visit the Captial city in the prime of the Spring cherry tree season. I play a dinner show at Fusion Restaurant on April 20th then a house concert on April 21st at the home of an artists I met during my Escape To Create Artists Residency last year in Florida. This will be a lovely reunion and a great show!
After that I head back toward Boston for a very special show at the Mary Prentiss Inn in Cambridge, MA on April 22nd. I first discovered the historic Mary Prentiss Inn when I lodged there during my Waywords art project back in September 2011. I fell in love Cambridge and the story of that old house. The Inn is generously hosting an a exclusive show in their beautiful dining room. It will be an enchanting evening. They are also offering room rate specials for the night. Seats are very limited and must be reserved. Pick up your tickets here : Get Your Tickets Now!
Finally, it’s out to Cape Cod for a show at the Trowbridge Tavern in Bourne, MA on April 25th. I have some very hospitable friends there and it will be nice to revisit this beautiful island. Come join us for a lovely Sunday show.
I’m looking forward to sharing new songs and stories with you. See you at a show,
~Carmel
