Spring arrives with a heavy moon, sunlit mornings and that lingering Atlantic wind that reminds us slyly that winter has indeed just passed, but is still nearby. Time for beginnings, little sprouts, deep breaths. In the old days, people would gather in village squares to sing, dance and feast. Out here we call that the East Coast Music Awards… kind of.
This April the ECMA’s land in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Along with three award nominations this year (Female Solo Recording / Pop Recording / Rising Star Recording), I’m doing several showcases and looking forward to being on the (other) island!
